Bridge of Hope has been a blessing to me.
I was having a “lull” in my spiritual life. I went to my pastor and asked him for guidance. His immediate response was “go to church every day!” (I wanted to fill my cup, not overflow it!) His second response was to pray each day for a deeper relationship with God through service. This was much more manageable.
Almost immediately, I was asked to attend an informational meeting regarding a ministry to assist homeless women with children, Bridge of Hope. Well, I almost ran there! I felt that this was what God was calling me to do. I have been involved since the very beginning, made beautiful friendships, went to the national conference in Pennsylvania, became secretary, attend a weekly committee as well as our monthly board meeting. The list goes on and on.
Instead of an empty cup, I now feel like a little vessel God can use for His service! Blessings, Kelly
