Bridge of Hope – Day of Prayer – November 12, 2009

by admin on November 8, 2009

Please join us to pray for Bridge of Hope and for homeless women and children.

DATE: Thursday, November 12, 2009

TIME: 7:00 p.m.

LOCATION:
First Brethren Church of South Bend.  4909 S. Ironwood Drive.  South Bend, IN  46614

Please join us in ending and preventing homelessness in our community…
one church and one family at a time.

Here’s how you can pray:

Sunday: That many churches in our community will be changed as they offer friendship to homeless women and children.
Monday: That homeless single mothers and their children in our community will find housing, work, friends & hope.
Tuesday: Pray for Bridge of Hope board members, staff members and volunteers to be encouraged by what God is doing as they serve homeless families and churches.
Wednesday: Pray for homeless women and children in communities where there is not yet a Bridge of Hope (or other programs).  Pray that new communities will want to start a Bridge of Hope.
Thursday: Pray for Bridge of Hope National as they equip communities which want to empower homeless single mothers and their children.
Friday: Pray that Bridge of Hope donors and volunteers will be blessed as they are a blessing to homeless families.
Saturday: Pray that churches will find new ways to share Christ’s love with homeless families in their community.

Bridge of Hope affiliates help single mothers find long-term solutions to homelessness using a three-way partnership between one homeless family, one church-based mentoring group and professional staff from a local Bridge of Hope.
