Bridge of Hope St. Joseph County Preparing to Serve At-Risk Mothers

by admin on January 15, 2010

What a wonderful community in which we live…  After spending much of this past year evaluating how Bridge of Hope would fit into the community of existing service agencies, we have been overwhelmed with the encouragement and support we have received and the excitement about the Bridge of Hope 3-Way Partnership approach, a model that has an 85% success rate in helping homeless and at-risk mothers find permanent housing, self sufficiency and wholeness through church-based, professionally trained mentoring groups.

We have been exceedingly Blessed by our gracious and compassionate community with their financial and Prayerful support at our recent fund raising event that celebrated our first anniversary as a non-profit affiliate of Bridge of Hope National.

And now… the active ministry of Bridge of Hope Saint Joseph County can begin in early 2010.   Stay tuned for more exciting news in 2010.

Mike, And now with the next goal to hire some staff, we will be thrilled to be able to move ahead with the solid foundation of helping a family. It is great to co-chair with you as we move ahead!
